Mountain States Property Management, Inc. is a professional real estate management and development company founded in 1979 and based in Logan, Utah. The firm manages and leases a portfolio of residential properties, including upscale multi-family apartments as well as commercial properties consisting primarily of professional office space. From Logan to Lehi, their property managers and maintenance personnel handle property leasing, operations, and capital improvements of real estate.

The firm has worked with FOCUS for eight years and recently collaborated on Lehi’s Lakeview Estates. Set in the foothills of Traverse Mountain, the subdivision provides a great place for people to build their dream home.

Brent Willie is Mountain States’ vice president for construction and development. He recognizes the shared business philosophies of both firms, namely understanding the value of taking care of clients. “At the end of the day, a company should really value their customers and work to take care of them,” Brent shares. “I believe FOCUS understands that.”

In Brent’s opinion, the ability to communicate well and provide good customer service is just as important as the technical skills in our field of work. He values not only the technical skills and knowledge of FOCUS team members with whom he’s worked, but also their good interpersonal skills.

A successful project begins with a good design and construction team. “I appreciate the thoroughness and completeness of plans produced by FOCUS,” he says. In Brent’s experience, it has helped owners avoid unexpected costs if everything is drawn on the plans so contractors know what to price and build. He also values the ability and willingness of FOCUS team members to guide owners through the city processes to get plans approved for permit.

We value this type of feedback and look forward to many more opportunities to deliver better value and service to partners like Mountain States Property Management.
